According to recent reports, the UN Organization is aware based on reasonable suspicion irrespective of other available evidence, that the Defense Secretary Nandasena Gotabaya Rajapakse had exceeded his legal limits , acted over and above the officers officially giving commands and trespassed on the laws when issuing orders during the war thereby committing war crimes and violating human rights then and now.
It is learnt that the reason for this suspicion is based on the ugly and deplorable protests which were organized against the UN office in Colombo on the 09 July 2010 , as related by the UN chiefs themselves . On that day morning none other than anti democratic regime Minister & one who involved in a bribe case during 2010, Wimal Weerawansa along with a violent gang of goons laid siege to the UN office and staged demonstrations , and later even erected a stage near the UN office and performed a fast unto death .
It is an internationally accepted legal requirement that every country where the UN offices are situated, security for those offices should be provided by that country , and SL is also bound by that . It is the DIG of that area who is responsible to provide security to that Institution. He has no need to take instructions from anyone when it comes to providing security. On that day , the DIG Pathirane who was responsible arrived at the scene with a group of policemen ,when Weerawansa telephoned defense Secretary Gotabaya and complained during the violent scenes against the police seeking to establish peace and order. The Defense Secretary who then telephoned the DIG began furiously berating him as follows :
Gota : Who asked you to go there ? Don’t step into that area. Why did you go there ?
DIG Pathirane : ‘Sir, Sir …. IGP only told me to visit the scene.
Gota : Take the police and vanish from there immediately.
DIG : Yes Sir. I shall.
Gota: withdraw every police vehicle and get out.
DIG : Right Sir.
Gota : useless piece of work. Today itself IGP should be removed from there.
This episode became known to the whole world following the video footage . This was a clear demonstration of the unlawful orders issued by the defense Secretary overriding the officers who were truly eligible to duly give commands. As this order was given by Gota , one of the Weerawansa stooges taking advantage gave a blow to the high ranking law enforcing officer’s head that the much respected official cap of his got thrown to the ground.

Jayalalitha says she want Sri Lankan Leader Mahinda before International Court - If fails, ask central goverment impose economic sanctions
Jayalalitha Jeyaram, the newly elected chief minister for Tamil Nadu has asked the Indian Central government to take measures against Sri Lanka Leader Mahinda for alleged war crimes and genocide of Tamils. Speaking in her own channel, Jaya TV after her election victory yesterday (May 13), she said that it was India's responsibility to ensure a "dignified and honourable existence" for the Tamils in Sri Lanka.
"I will exert pressure on the central government, after I take over as the CM, to take action against Sri Lankan leader before international court for genocide and war crimes. India should take the initiative for this," she has said.
If Mahinda fails to honour that, she said, India should also take other measures to pressurize Sri Lanka.
"If Sri Lankan regime did not oblige to these requests, Indian government has to impose economic sanctions on Sri Lanka together with other countries," the CM designate has added.
The main reason for the suffering of Tamils in Sri Lanka, according to the newly elected CM, is the Sri Lanka government."As Tamils, it is our duty to ensure a good life for the Tamils in Sri Lanka," she said.
"I can act on this regard as the CM on a limited way, but this is an international issue. Therefore, the central government should take action to resolve this," she has added.

Disruption Still Continues for lankaenews.com and lankanewsweb.com
According to many readers, the 2 most prominent online web portals are being disrupted very often with in Sri Lanka by Anti Democratic Rajapakse and his goons.
It is reported that the anti democratic regime fears that, if people come to know about any truth about the regimes corruptions and illegal activities, People will protest against the regime and most probably chase out the regime leader like in Tunisia and Egypt.

Karthik blitz keeps Punjab in race
Kings XI Punjab 181 for 4 (Dinesh Karthik 69, S Marsh 42, RP Singh 4-25) beat Kochi Tuskers Kerala 178 for 7 (Jayawardene 76, Bipul Sharma 2-32) by six wickets
Kings XI Punjab beat the Kochi Tuskers Kerala by six wickets in a boundary-rich encounter at the IPL's newest venue, Indore, keeping their hopes of making the play-offs alive. Emphatic batting from Dinesh Karthik and Shaun Marsh, who put on a 111-run stand for the third-wicket, made the difference on a surface that was good for batting, in a stadium with short boundaries and a quick outfield.
Karthik and Marsh's bruising combination nullified the earlier efforts of Mahela Jayawardene. The Kochi captain had played a classy innings of 76 in which he alternated effortlessly between elegant flicks, casual lofted strokes and crunching blows to propel the Kochi ship to 178.
Adam Gilchrist and Paul Valthathy started the chase in measured fashion against RP Singh and Sreesanth but with the target they had to chase, they could not afford to hang around for too long. Valthaty began the assault, smashing RP for two sixes off short balls before being bowled with the full one.
Gilchrist continued watchfully and was out in RP's next over, trying to pull over midwicket but only succeeding in getting an edge through to Parthiv Patel, leaving Punjab in trouble.
Karthik and Marsh weren't pushed into a shell by that though. They took on the bowling and managed at least one boundary off every over they faced together. Some overs were more profitable than others. Marsh was feeding off the full delivery, getting under them and driving aerially, while Karthik cashed in on the short balls. He hit the balls particularly furiously and brought up his 50 with a blistering swipe through midwicket.
As he and Marsh had Punjab needing about a run-a-ball for victory, when RP returned and struck twice again. Karthik drove in the air to extra cover and Mahela Jayawardene timed his leap to perfection, snatching it out of the sky. He stuck again in that over, removing Marsh with a spectacular reflex catch off his own bowling.
It slowed Punjab down a touch, but not enough as David Hussey and Mandeep Singh took them across the finish line. In the end Punjab got away with the 19 wides they sent down while bowling and the blistering start they allowed Jayawardene and Brendon McCullum to get off to.
The Kochi pair were offered a healthy amount of short ball and flighted deliveries from Ryan Harris and Bipul Sharma and took full advantage. The nature of the track allowed them to punish even decent balls and they put on 93 for the first wicket. McCullum fell to Sharma after being trapped lbw while attempting the sweep shot but Jayawardene was unmoved by the loss of his partner.
With Ravindra Jadeja, he took Kochi to 103 for 1 at the halfway stage. Jadeja smacked one gorgeous six off Piyush Chawla before the lespinner had him out lbw. The runs slowed a little after that. The third fifty took 44 balls to come, during which Jadeja and Brad Hodge were out, and Jayawardene had to rein himself in a little.
He formed another damaging partnership with Owais Shah, who had his first outing in the IPL this season. Shah hit an entertaining 23 off 11 balls before being run-out after struggling to hear the call from Jayawardene, who was himself run out off the last ball. A flurry of wickets at the end pegged Kochi back and kept them from striding over the 200 mark.

Innocent Father Commits Suicide after school principal shows Porn Video Clips in his son's Mobile Phone !
After school principal had shown him (as well as students mother) the porn videos in his son's mobile phone, the innocent father had commited suicide unabling to bare the embarassement he and his wife faced as a result of the foolish act of school Principal friom a school in Kokerralla.
The above said principal had cought the student for bringing a mobile phone to the class room and he had checked the videos and pictures in it. He had found that porn video clips were their in it. He had asked the parents of the child to come to school as their child had done some great work(Without telling what it is).
When the parents had come, first the pricipal had told the parents that student had brought an item banned from the school by showing the mobile. Then he had told " you parents haven't checked what is in it, isn't it ? ". The Parents had told "actually no Sir".
Then the Foolish Principal had played the porn videos in it infront of both father and mother (It is also reported that, mother had asked to stop playing it kindly but pricipal had not listen to her and also reported that pricipal had other sexual ideas about her). He had commited this act in order to make the student get shy regarding what he has done.
The parents had become so embarrased and the father had felt so embarrasing and he had shot him self with a gun just after 2 hours from arriving home. He was a father of 3 children and was 43 years at the time of death.
Many says, he should have just told the parents about the mobile not about the porn in it but he should have warned the student (may be punished ) and removed porn in it.
Hope legal action will be taken against this foolish principal

Wikileaks says Sri Lankan Regime rejected LTTE terrorists surrender offer - but Mahinda's Regime Denies !
They say that Defence Secretary Gothabaya Rajapaksa (Brother of President Mahinda) dismissed US pressure to allow a mediated surrender with the words "we're beyond that now".
The leaked US cables suggest requests for the International Red Cross to go into the war zone were refused.
Sri Lanka's regime
The Sri Lankan civil war came to an end in May 2009 with the death of their terrorist leader Velupillai Prabhakaran after the Tamil Tiger Terrorists made a last stand in the north-east of the island.
The leaked US documents - which appeared in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten - say that on 16 May 2009 the Norwegian ambassador called his US counterpart to report that he had received a phone call from Selvarasa Padmanathan - known as "KP" (Now he is with Mahinda and said to be providing funds for MR's Political Campaigns and Underworld work) - stating that the terrorists were prepared to surrender without conditions to a neutral third party.
Correspondents say that although Padmanathan was abroad at the time, it would not have been unusual for him as rebel head of foreign relations to make the offer.
Energetically refused
The documents say that the US ambassador then called the International Red Cross (ICRC) who told him that their staff were prepared to go into the conflict zone by military helicopter to mediate a surrender.
CRC head of delegation Paul Castella is quoted in the document as saying that Defence Secretary Gothabaya Rajapaksa initially agreed to the arrangement, but first wanted the names of the rebel leaders who were prepared to surrender.
But the documents say that "despite helpful efforts from Norway" the rebels failed to provide such a list.
The documents say the government rejected repeated US requests to allow the ICRC into the conflict zone to help many dead and wounded civilians there.
According to the US cables, presidential adviser Basil Rajapaksa "energetically refused" to give the ICRC permission, accusing it of failing on "three consecutive days to evacuate the wounded, even though the Additional Government Agent had said it was safe to do so".
Microsoft To Buy Skype For $8.5 Billion - Skype said to be running at a loss at the moment !
CEO Steve Ballmer emphasized the value of Skype integration with Microsoft Lync unified communications, Outlook, consumer products like Xbox, and other online communities.
Microsoft is acquiring Skype for $8.5 billion in cash, a deal Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer said will enrich Internet voice and video communications for both consumers and business users.
"Anytime, around the planet, people talk about communications, they talk about Skype," Ballmer said in a news conference Tuesday, noting that Skype has "become a verb" that means to place a voice or video call over the Internet.
Microsoft pledged to continue to invest in and support Skype clients on non-Microsoft platforms, but emphasized the value of integrations with Microsoft Lync unified communications, Outlook, and consumer products like Xbox, Kinect, Xbox Live, and other online communities. Ballmer assured those who might be mistrustful of Microsoft
operating system bias that Skype interoperability is in his company's best interest.
"We obviously love Windows and love Windows Phone, love the Xbox, and we're going to do a lot of work together. But fundamental to the value proposition of communication is being able to reach everybody, whether they happen to be on your device or not," Ballmer said. "The products Skype users know and love today will simply continue to grow and be enhanced."
Microsoft also sees great potential to create new experiences on phones and in living rooms through its consumer initiatives, while strengthening professional communications through integration with Lync and Outlook, Ballmer said. Because people work from home and conduct parts of their personal lives from work, the ability to bridge between commercial and consumer communications also is important, he said. "It enables communication in all of people's lives."

Disciplined Pune outplay uncharged Deccans !
Pune Warriors 137 for 4 (Pandey 49, Ganguly 32*) beat Deccan Chargers 136 for 8 (Marsh 4-25, Yuvraj 2-17) by six wickets
Deccan Chargers were handcuffed by Yuvraj Singh's round-arm left-arm spin, submitting to a middling total after a flashy start. They lost two wickets to Yuvraj at crucial junctures, and scored only 17 off his four overs. Mitchell Marsh and Rahul Sharma did their bit too, conceding 49 in their eight overs. Marsh was rewarded handsomely with three wickets in the 19th over with frustrated batsmen looking to force the pace. Jesse Ryder and Manish Pandey made light work of the chase, although this game was inconsequential to qualification for further rounds.

After a glut of predictable snooze-fests, the IPL produced the kind of upset the Twenty20 format is made for, with Kings XI Punjab, placed tenth at the start of the game, producing a strong performance to trounce the table-toppers, Mumbai Indians. Punjab came out determined against Mumbai's gun bowlers - Lasith Malinga and Harbhajan Singh - and scrapped their way towards a solid base, before Munaf Patel's five-for kept them to 163. In reply, Mumbai combusted in a rash of ridiculous shots to concede two points on a platter, keeping Punjab's campaign alive.

Popular Opposition Party Leader to join UNP as another deputy Leader ? Former Cricketer to join as National Organizer and Ravi up the ladder as Deputy ?
One time strongest political party, now weeker with Ra-NIL's leadership, the UNP is looking at amending its Constitution once more to make way for a popular opposition leader to join the party and it is likely to be General Sarath Fonseka.
The amendment is to be brought to create a position for these leading opposition member and to confirm the deputy leadership post held by Sajith Premadasa.
Therefore, the number of deputy leader posts in the party is expected to go up further more.
The new Constitution speaks only of one deputy leader. Senior party leaders have informed the party leadership that although Premadasa was appointed as deputy leader in place of the vice leader post, the Constitution had to be amended to make his appointment lawful.
In this backdrop, the party is looking at amending the Constitutionnn to legalize Premadasa's deputy leader post and to appoint National Organizer Ravi Karunanayake also as deputy leader of the party.
An active opposition parliamentarian had agreed to the UNP leadership that he would join the party only if he is given the post of National Organizer and some believe this can be the other popular figure in DNA otehr than General Fonseka. Karunanayake has said that he was ready to give up the post of National Organizer if he is appointed as a deputy leader.
Therefore, Karu Jayasuriya is to be appointed as the senior deputy leader from among five deputy leader posts. However, until the amendment is made, the UNP leader has decided to give specific powers to each office bearer within the next two weeks, the parliamentarian said.
Anyway many political analysts believe that without removing Ra-NIL as leadership, their will be not much change in voterbase of the party but the greenship will sink further more...!

Cuba faces worst drought in 50 years !
Cubans fill buckets and pails as country faces worst drought in 50 years
(Video ; Please wait sometime to load above video)
Cuba is facing its worst drought in half a century, with tens of thousands of families almost entirely reliant on water trucks for essential supplies. The drought started two years ago, and reservoirs are now down to a fifth of their normal levels.
The government is providing road deliveries of water to more than 100,000 people in the worst affected areas of the capital, Havana. The situation in Havana is compounded by a pipe network in poor condition.
The state-run newspaper Granma says up to 70% of water pipes supplying the capital are leaking and in urgent need of repair, the BBC's Michael Voss in Havana says. Residents are having to use buckets and bottles to fill up with water from the road deliveries.
"It's completely out of control," one resident, Ana Gomez, said. "Just imagine that you can't wash when you want to, you have to wash when you are able to." Another, Enrique Olivera Gonzalez, said: "As there is no water, you can't wash your clothes, cook, or clean your house."
Cubans are hoping the rainy season in May and June will bring some respite. But even a normal rainfall will not be enough to fill up the reservoirs, our correspondent says.

Libyan delegates back oppostion freedom figters council
Representatives from 25 Libyan local councils have met in Abu Dhabi, expressing support for the uprising against long-time leader Muammar Gaddafi.
This is first time that leaders from councils and tribes in south and west Libya, away from the heartland of the freedom figterslion in the east, have been able to meet. A representative from Sirte, Gaddafi's hometown, was among the delegates in attendance on Monday.
"As we continue our support for the 17th February uprising and, in defiance of the regime's claims, we announce unequivocally our allegiance to and trust in the National Transitional Council (NTC)," a statement said.
"In support of the struggle of the Libyan people to establish a modern civil society, (70) members of various local councils - which represent the different western, central and southern regions and tribes of Libya - have come together in Abu Dhabi".
The conference called for international recognition of the National Transitional Council (NTC) and for providing the freedom figterss with advanced weaponry, they say, is needed to defeat Gaddafi's better-armed troops.
An official from the NTC who requested anonymity told AFP news agency that the Abu Dhabi meeting was aimed at "strengthening the unity of the Libyan regions and tribes".
Representatives from smaller, beleaguered western cities such as Zwara used the meeting as a platform to publicise their sufferings, which have received less attention than Benghazi and Misurata, a western city and Libya's third-largest that has been besieged by Gaddafi's forces for months.
The delegates will travel to Doha, the Qatari capital, later this week, and then convene for the first time in Benghazi on Friday.
The show of unity may also help the opposition forces convince a skittish market to buy oil from freedom figters-held eastern Libya.
So far, the NTC has only been able to sell around one million barrels to Qatar for $120m. But on Monday, Aref Ali Nayed, a representative for the council abroad, said the council will sell oil through international tenders.
World powers have promised $250m in humanitarian aid to the freedom figterss and said the Gaddafi regime's frozen overseas assets, estimated at $60bn, would be used later to assist the Libyan opposition.

Footage highlights threat to Sumatran tigers - Wildlife group urges against Indonesian deforestation after capturing video of endangered species in threatened areas.
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), a conservation group, has urged logging companies to drop plans to clear Indonesian forest areas where it captured rare images of critically endangered Sumatran tigers.
The video recorded through camera traps by the wildlife organisation in March and April shows 12 of the big cats, including two mothers playing with their cubs, in the Bukit Tigapuluh forest of eastern Sumatra.
"That was the highest number of tigers and tiger images obtained or ever experienced," Karmila Parakkasi, WWF tiger researcher, said in a statement.
Less than 400 Sumatran tigers exist today, and environmental activists say the animals are increasingly losing their natural habitat due to deforestation for timber and palm oil plantations.
The 12 tigers were spotted inside a land concession belonging to Barito Pacific Group (BP Group), wood supplier to regional giant Asia Pulp and Paper (APP), the statement added.
The areas of the central Sumatran forests where the tiger species are concentrated are prime targets for pulp and paper companies like BP Group and APP, which both have permits pending to clear the forest.
"As soon as pending permits are granted by the government, the company could clear the forest to supply the wood to Asia Pulp & Paper of Sinar Mas Group," said WWF.
Prominent conservation, animal and human rights groups, including WWF, have urged the two companies and the Indonesian government to protect the forests from deforestation.
"WWF calls for all concessions operating in this area to abandon plans to clear this forest and protect areas with high conservation value," said WWF forest and species programme director Anwar Purwoto.
"We also urge the local, provincial and central government to take into consideration the importance of this corridor and manage it as part of Indonesia's commitments to protecting biodiversity."
The Bukit Tigapuluh forest is designated a "global priority tiger conservation landscape" and is one of six landscapes the government of Indonesia pledged to protect at last November’s tiger summit of world leaders in Russia.
Indonesia has agreed with Norway on a two-year moratorium on new permits to clear forest, under a landmark $1 billion deal to curb greenhouse gas emissions from deforestation, but it has yet to be signed into law as ministries wrangle over details.
