Smart Watches available in the market now !

Since Dick Tracy started calling the station from his wrist, the world has waited for high-tech, computerized watches. In the 1980s, Casio came out with calculator watches, while the 1990s and 2000s saw a number of lame attempts to sync wrist pieces with the PC. Finally, in 2012, we’re starting to see real, useful watches that work with our phones and the cloud to help us stay connected, fit and informed. Here are our five favorites so far.

WIMM One Watch ( about $199)

Where most smart watches are all but useless if they are not actively tethered to a phone, the WIMM One gets updates via Wi-Fi every hour. With a custom version of Android and its own micro app store, this watch is more than just a handset companion; it's an entirely new platform that's capable of delivering news, weather, social updates and more, directly from the cloud to your wirst.

I'm Watch ($469 and Up)

Watch2
The most stylish smart watch around, the Italian I'm Watch comes in a variety of shapes, colors and materials with models ranging from $469 to $2,299.

Good looks aside, the I'm Watch has an extremely robust set of apps that allow you to play music, get email, read social updates and more, just as long as it stays connected to your phone via Bluetooth. Because the I'm Watch comes with a built-in microphone and speaker, you can even make calls directly from your wrist. I'm Watch Wrists On

Sony SmartWatch ($149)

Less expensive than competitors like the I'm Watch and WIMM One, the Sony SmartWatch comes with apps for listening to music, reading emails and browsing social updates. Like the I'm Watch, Sony's wrist piece requires an active Bluetooth connection to a phone (Android only) to use these features and its screen goes dark when not in active use.

However, unlike its pricey Italian competitor, the SmartWatch shows you the complete text of emails you receive, not just their subject lines. The SmartWatch requires a Bluetooth headset to listen to music or make calls. Sony SmartWatch Wrists-On

Motorola MotoACTV ($249)

Watch4
The ultimate watch for runners, the MotoACTV uses GPS to track your run routes, calculate how many calories you burned and then upload your progress to the cloud.

The device also plays music to help you stay motivated. Review of the Motorola MotoACTV

Meta Watch ($199)

Watch5

Not quite as snazzy as its competitors, the developer preview-level MetaWatch features a black-and-white screen that does little more than alert you to updates from apps on your phone such as email and SMS. However, it has a unique home screen that shows a ton of information, including your number of unread emails and SMS messages, missed call count and weather with icons for clouds. At present, it is available only as a demo kit from Texas Instruments. MetaWatch Home Page

Dismayed that family members are spread out over the house, each with a separate PC or tablet? Lenovo has something it believes will get them back together: a PC the size of a coffee table that works like a gigantic tablet and lets four people use it at once.
Lenovo Group Ltd., one of the world's largest PC makers, is calling the IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC the first "interpersonal computer" — as opposed to a "personal computer."

At first glance, it looks like a regular all-in-one machine in the vein of the iMac: It's a 27-inch screen with the innards of a Windows 8 computer built into it, and it can stand up on a table.
But you can pick it up off the table, unhook the power cord and lay it flat for games of "Monopoly." It's big enough to fit four people around it, and the screen can respond to ten fingers touching it at the same time.
As a tablet, it's a monstrosity. The screen is the size of eight iPads stitched together, and it weighs 15 pounds. It's almost as homebound as a flat-panel TV.

The Table PC will include plastic "strikers" for "Air Hockey," and joysticks that attach to the screen with suction cups for other games, including multiplayer shooter "Raiding Company."
In a demonstration at the International CES on Sunday, photos and videos could be rotated with fingers. Spreading five fingers at once on the screen cleared the screen of clutter, while squeezing them together brought the photos and videos back.
Lenovo, a Chinese company that owns IBM Corp.'s former PC business, said the Table PC will go on sale this summer starting at $1,699.

Microsoft Corp. pioneered the idea of a table PC with the Surface, a PC with a 30-inch touch-sensitive screen released in 2008. It was designed for store displays and other commercial applications. The concept is now called PixelSense, as Microsoft started using the "Surface" name for an unrelated tablet computer last year.

More recently, Sony Corp. released the Tap 20, an all-in-one PC that can also be laid flat. But it's smaller than the Lenovo model, at 20 inches diagonally, and doesn't have as much table-oriented software as the Table PC.

Apple To Launch Smart Watch in Early 2013

The latest fad for future technology is the ability to make your mobile electronics a part of your fashion statement. It may have started with the extremely successful Kickstarter funding project for the Pebble smartwatch for iPhone and Android devices that raised over $10 million. Now rumors tell of Apple working with Intel to create their smartwatch for iOS devices.

After Pebble received such a great reaction and 85,000 pre-orders from the crowd-funding venture, other groups and inventors decided to take a crack at the smartwatch market as well. Such projects include MetaWatch and cookoo, which both received at least double their original funding goal, launched after Pebble and, although their both shipping past their estimated time, will be rewarding their backers before Pebble. But with such high expectations and potential to come from the Pebble smartwatch, it’s easy to say that great things come to those who wait.

The Blackberry 10 Smartphone Leaked !

Blackberry 10 is not only one of the biggest mobile OS updates to look forward to in the new year but Research In Motion’s (RIM) last hope for competing with the smartphone super-giants like Apple and Google. It is long overdue and may already be too late. But RIM is still moving forward after releasing two developer devices and a demo video to preview what the next generation in Blackberry phones will look like. Now a series of photos and a video has been leaked to show the final product of what the world might see in January 2013.

BB10 1 The Blackberry 10 Smartphone [Leaked Pictures]

First and foremost, it looks like the Canadian company is finally catching on to the 21st century design styles that was become so common among our current smartphones. The thin, beveled sides around the large touchscreen and the sleek, black body to hold it all made not be the peak of innovation but it shows the company is starting the pay attention. Touchscreens have been a weak point for Blackberry ever since the introduction of the iPhone over 6 years ago, and unfortunately, RIM staked their money on their tiny QWERTY keyboards.
